Congo - unknown tug

I am looking for a name to be put on this tug. It is a French-desgned and built tug but I cannot figure out what it is doing in a Congo stamp - since to my knowledge a tug of that design never operated in the Congo.

The small vessel visible between the two red ships in front is the training vessel of the Dutch Pilot Services (Loodswezen) - named Mercuur.

Hi, I noticed the stamp + description. It may be of interest that the stamp is at fault. The tug depicted is NOT Salvonia. Actually, it is the Dutch tug Thames which, in 1960, became another Salvonia, also operated by Overseas Towage. Thames, dating from 1939, was indeed a WWII rescue tug, but under...
