SHIP STAMP SOCIETY

SHIP STAMP SOCIETY

Interested in Ships and Stamps? The Ship Stamp Society is an international society and publishes it’s journal, Log Book, six time a year.

The editor of Log book will retire this coming August and, unless a new one comes forward, the society will close.
With this in mind, we are not taking in any new members.
This is an unfortunate situation but seemingly unavoidable.

Who can give this French battleship a name or what class is she.

Papua New Guinea 2014 8k sg?, scott?

I think this identification is correct there were only two in this class the REPUBLIQUE and PATRIE, many thanks.
Both battleships were completed in 1906. Later a almost identical class the Liberté class was built. Which is depict is doubtful. viewtopic.php?f=2&t=9898&p=10250&hilit=republique#p10250

I put a photo of the PATRIE on the site.
