ASTUTE CLASS submarine

Post by aukepalmhof » Wed Mar 31, 2010 8:45 pm

The submarine purporting to be an ASTUTE class sub is in fact a SWIFTSURE or TRAFALGAR class vessel. HMS ASTUTE is the only vessel of the class in the water, at present, and bears no resemblance to the vessel on the stamp. She is still undertaking sea trials from Faslane on the River Clyde.
