VICTORIA
Motor vessel ex steamer, operator AS Turist Trafikk, Skein.
Built 1882 by Akens Mek Verksted, Oslo;
152 Gt, 96.5' x 18'; 150 passengers, Route Skein to Dalen Via Bandak canal, daily In the summer. Operated on this service as a passenger-cargo ship until 1956, having been dieselsed in 1953.
VICTORIA was rebuilt and returned to service for the tourist trade In 1963.Her route is one of the most varied
scenic routes In Europe.ln recent years some sailings have been curtailed at Kviteseld and a second ship VILDANDEN
was placed on the route. This enabled daily sailings to be given rather than the thrice-weekly In each direction which had previously been offered.
