Built 1956 at Gdynska Stocznia Remontowa (Overhaul Shipyard Gdynia) G.R.T. 78 N.R.T. 21. Length 82 ft. 8 in. Breadth 21 ft. Depth 8 ft. 2in. powered by 1 MWM 6 cylinder engine of 310 h.p. Single screw, with a speed of 10 knots. One deck carries a crew of 8 men.
Life saving cruiser owned by Polish Ship Salvage.

"R-1" - was on rescue service stationed mainly in Hel. In the years 1956-1978 it was the flagship unit of the rescue service. Withdrawn from service in 1978, under the name "MARIOLA, it was still used until 1988 as a diving base. In 1989, it was sold to the Szczecin Yacht Club "Amigo".
