DAG VIKING tug

Built as an anchor handling tug under yard No 245 by Bolsønes Verft, Molde, Norway for Sameiet Dag Viking, K/S Viking Supply Ships A/S, Kristiansand, Norway.
09 November 1976 launched as the DAG VIKING.
Tonnage 929 grt, 137 net, 1,116 dwt., dim. 50.93 x 12.22 x 6.1m (draught), length bpp. 44.7m.
Powered by two 16-cyl.Nohab diesel engines, 7,500 bhp., twin shafts, speed 14.5 knots.
One bow thruster. Bunker capacity 1,050 m³.
Bollard pull 100 ton.
Accommodation for crew and 10 passengers.
February 1977 delivered to owners.

1986 Sold to Skips aksjeselskapet Excelsior, (managed by Reksten Management A/S Fjøsanger, Norway) Panama, renamed SCAN PRIDE.
1988 Sold to Spector Shipping S/A, (same manager), Panama.
1989 Sold Offshore Support Service Inc., Panama, renamed GMOS PRIDE.
1990 Sold to Boa Ltd., Georgetown, Cayman Islands. Managed by Taubåtkompaniet A/S, Trondheim) renamed in BOA PRIDE.
1995 Sold to Westpark Maritime Corp., Cayman Islands, renamed SEA BOXER.
1998 Sold to Seabulk Gannet II, St Vincent, renamed RED GANNET II.
1998 Renamed by owners in SEABULK GANNET II.
2008 Sold to Mabisel Trading & Construction, Port Harcourt, Nigeria, renamed in MABISEL GANNET II.
2016 In service, same owner and name, IMO No. 7424803, Nigeria flag, tonnage given as 1,030 grt, 1,116 dwt.

Norway 1985 2k+1k sgMS960, scott? (she is the vessel aft (hardly visible) and most left on the stamp.)
