ROMANSHORN. Large double ended passenger/car ferry. Built at Kressbronn in 1958. Used on Lake Constance. Carries 560 passengers and 35 cars. Length 55.50m, beam 12.20m, 2‑600 HP SLM diesel engines. 457 tons gross. Apparently on service between Friedrich Shafen and Romanshorn.

Built in 1958 at the Bodanwerft, Kressbronn at the Bodensee (Lake Constance) for the Schweizerische Bundesbahnen (Swiss Federal Railways) for the service between Friedrichshafen to Romanshorn across the Bodensee.
She is a double ended ferry used for passenger and cars.
Launched as the ROMANSHOF.
Tonnage 471 ton empty. Dim. 55.50 x 13.44m.
Two SLM diesel engines each 600 hp.. One Voith-Schneider screw fore and aft.
Can carry 560 persons and 35 cars. Crew 3. In the early days she could carry also railway carriages.
Homeport, Romanshorn, Swiss.
She was the first motor passenger ship of the company.
1996 Transferred to the Schweizerische Bodensee Schiffahrtgesellschaft AG.
2010 She is the oldest passenger ship in service between Romanshorn and Friedrichshafen.
2019 in service.
