Built as a trawler/purse seiner under yard No 48 by Hatlo Verksted, Ulsteinvik, Norway for Eiler Jacobsen Torshavn, Faroe Islands.
Launched as KRONBORG, christened by Helene Nicodemussen.
Tonnage 637 grt, 262 net, dim. 56 x 9.63m.
Powered by 1 Nohab diesel engine, 2,800 hp., speed 16 knots. Variable pitch propeller.
Bow and stern thruster.
Ice strengthened.
Crew 18.
June 1973 completed, building cost 2 million dollars.
Delivered as KRÚNBORG.

She was primarily built for human consumption fishing, but was also fitted out for fishing with pelagic trawls.
Till 1979 she was still owned by same owner without mishap.
1984 She was lengthened, length increased to 66.5m., tonnage 1,005 grt.
1999 Renamed in NORDICA after part payment for a new built KRÚNBORG built by Westcon in Ølen, Norway.
2004 She was still laid up by the Westcon yard.

2010 IMO No 7325540, not any info on the trawler after 2004.
