VEENDAM (4) cruise vessel 1996, renamed 2020 AEGEAN MAJESTIC

Built under yard No 5954 as a cruise vessel by Fincantieri Breda, Marghera, Venice Italy for Holland America Line, Nassau Bahamas.
25 May 1995 launched under the name VEENDAM (4), named after a town in the Province Groningen, Netherlands.
Tonnage 55,451 grt, 26,945 net, 6,604 dwt., dim. 219.21 x 30.80 x 7.50m.
Powered: diesel electric by two Sulzer-Grandi 12ZAV40S diesel engines and two Sulzer-Grandi 8ZAL40 diesel engines, 34,560 kW., twin shafts, speed 20.3.
Accommodation for 1,350 passengers and 580 crew.
23 April 1996 completed.

28 April 1996 sailed from Venice to Malaga, Spain.
25 May 1996 first cruise from Fort Lauderdale.
09 January 2006 transferred to Dutch registry, with homeport Rotterdam.
April 2009 she underwent a refit in Freeport, Bahamas.

IMO No. 9102992.
August 2020 sold to Seajet, Greece, homeport Hamilton, Bermuda, and renamed AEGEAN MAJESTY.
2022 Laid up.

Uruguay 2010 $37 sg?, scott?
Guinea Bissau 2021 1000 FCFA sg?, Scott? under the name AEGEAN MAJESTIC.
