Built as a cruise vessel, the hull was built by the yard of Francisco Visentini at Porto Viro, Italy while she was completed under yard no 982 by T. Mariotti SpA, Genoa for the Silver Sea Cruises Ltd., Nassau, Bahamas.
Tonnage 28,258 grt, 2,880 dwt., dim. 182.00 x 24.80 x 6.00m. (draught).
Powered by two Wärtsilä 8L46B diesel engines, 11,474 kW, speed 21 knots (maximum)
Accommodation for 382 passengers, crew 295.
07 February 2001 completed as SILVER WHISPER.
11 June 2001 delivered to owners, under Bahamas flag and registry.

18 June 2001 christened by Mrs. Marzia Lefebvre D’Ovidio in Genoa, Italy.
02 July 2001 maiden cruise from Civitavecchia, Italy to London.
08 August 2008 by entering the port of Lisbon, Portugal she got engine problems and was later towed into port for repairs.
2022 In service, same name, and owner, managed by Silversea Cruises Ltd. Fort Lauderdale, U.S.A.
IMO No 9192179.

Update:
The stamp depict the SILVER WHISPER. After comparing photos of the ship on the net I found on https://www.vesselfinder.com/vessels/SI ... -308322000 the photo after which the stamp is designed, by the photo is given she is the SILVER WHISPER, she has one sistership the SILVER SHADOW.
