MTB M1
The M1 was an Irish motor torpedo boat of 32 tons displacement launched in 1939. The M1 was powered by three Isotta-Fraschini petrol motors providing a top speed of 40 knots. She was armed with two 21-inch torpedo tubes and two anti-aircraft machine-guns.

She was first ordered by the Government of Estonia, but when World War II broke out sold to Ireland.
She was ordered in May 1939.
Built by Thornycroft, Southampton.
Displacement 32 ton, dim. 22.0 x 5.00 x 1.15m. (draught)
Two Isotta-Fraschini petrol engines, 2,300 hp, twin shafts, speed 40 knots.
Armament 2 - 62.2mm guns and 2 - 533mm torpedo tubes.
Crew 12.

During World War II used as coastal patrol boat, but took not part in any significant action during the war.

After the war in 1948 discarded. Fate unknown.
