Enterprise (Yacht)

Post by john sefton » Tue Oct 25, 2011 7:25 pm

ENTERPRISE, (Pakistan 1999, SG1082. India SG1065). International class designed by Jack HoIt in 1956 and sponsored by the now defunct News Chronicle. Designed as a double chine hull, being an approximation to a round bilge but suitable for home construction. The generous sail area and light weight make the boat demanding in heavy winds. In spite of the age of the design, the class thrives throughout the world. Length 13'3", 113 sq. ft. of sail, weight 2071b, crew 2.
By Phil Hanley, Log Book.
I do not have the stamps.
