Built in 1984 by VEB Mathias Thesen Werft, Wismar #153, launched as RITZBERG, RoRo/Cargo, Gt: 10.243, Nt: 3072, Dw: 6704, Loa: 138,51m. Lbp: 137,70m. B: 23,52m. D: 14,61m. draft: 7,23m. 2-12 cyl. SKL diesels: 14.410 bhp. (10.599 kW) 14½ kn. 2 controllable pitch propellers, stern door/ramp, lane length: 1089m. TEU: 289, pass: 12, crew: 27, IMO.8306589. In '96 sold to Octogon Shipping & Services, Constantza as OCTOGON 3, 03-'99 TANGO, 15-01-2004 CFF SOLENT, 06-05-2005 sold to Independence Shipping Co., Valetta, Malta as FAST INDEPENDENCE, 2010 demolished.

Built under yard no 153 as a ro-ro vessel by VEB Mathias Thesen Werft, Wismar, East Germany.
31 May 1983 laid down.
31 August 1983 launched under the name RITZBERG
Tonnage 4.692 gross, 1.895 net, 6.620 dwt., dim. 138.51 x 21.01 x 7.23m
Two 12 cyl. Skoda diesels, 14.4000 bhp., speed 18.5 knots.
Passenger accommodation for 12 passengers.
Three cargo decks with a capacity for 167 x 20ft trailers, 289 TEU’s or 469 medium-size cars.
She has a two lane stern ramp and two 55 tons lifts.
Four sisterships were built for Deutfracht, East Germany, and one more for Romania the TUZLA.

1984 Delivered to Compania de Navigation NAVROM later ROMLINE, Constanta, Rumania under the name TUTOVA.
Used in the service form Constanta to the U.S.S.R.
1993 Registered under Cyprus flag. Homeport Limassol.
1995 Homeport Constanta.
1996 Transferred to Octogon Shipping & Services, Constanta, Rumania, renamed OCTOGON 3
20 April 1996 chartered by the Color Line, Oslo, for the service between Oslo – Kiel/ Oslo – Hirtshals.
31 March 1997 engine broke down, and charter canceled, repaired in Kiel.
28 May 1997 chartered by Color Line, Oslo for service between Oslo and Kiel.
From 31 Oct. 1997 until 06 Sept. 1998 chartered by Finncarriers Oy AB, Helsingfors, used in the service between Helsinki, Lübeck/Travemunde.
01 Jan. 1998 Used in the service from Helsingfors-Ärhus-Lübeck.
14 Sept. 1998 Chartered by East Coast Ferries, used in the service between Hull and Dunkerque.
11 Oct. 1998 grounded off the Humber, refloated after one day.
20 Jan. 1999 the charterer went bankrupt.
Jan. 1999 Chartered by DFDS Tor Line.
April 1999 Chartered by the Norfolk Line, renamed TANGO used in the service between Scheveningen-Felixstone- Esbjerg.

June 2002 Chartered by Norfolk Line in the service from Scheveningen to Felixstone.
Jan. 2002 chartered by Ferryways, Oostende, Belgium and from 29 Jan 2002 used in the service between Oostende and Killingholme.
January 2003 chartered by Transfennica Ltd. Helsingfors, used in the service between Hangö – Lübeck_ Hangö – Antwerp – Hangö.
January 2004 chartered by Channel Freight Ferries.
15 January 2004 renamed in CFF SOLENT.
16 January 2004 sailed from Antwerp.
19 January 2004 used in the service between Southampton and Radicatel near Le Havre, France.
13 October 2004 arrived by the Vlissingen (Flushing) Shipyard, renamed in TANGO.
06 May 2005 sold to Independence Shipping Co. Ltd., Malta and renamed FAST INDEPENDENCE.
09 May sailed from Schiedam to Uddevalla but outward-bound got on fire in the engine room near Hook of Holland, she was towed back to Schiedam for repair.
20 May 2005 sailed from Rotterdam bound for Beirut with rolling material, during the voyage she was ordered by the French authorities to make a call at Brest after a French Navy helicopter spotted her with a 20km-long oil slick in its wake when she was about 200km off Penmarch.
After a bail was paid of about 300.000 Euro she was permitted to resume her voyage.

26 May 2010 she arrived at Aliaga, Turkey by the scrapyard of Sok GS for scrapping.
