ØYVIND LORENTZEN rescue vessel

Along the quay at Egersund, Norway two ships are moored, and according Watercraft Philately she are the pilot boat LOS 089 and the largest vessel in front of the pilot boat is the ØYVIND LORENTZEN.
Till so far not any details on the pilot boat, all info welcome.

The rescue vessel was built by Smedvik mek. Verk., Tjørvåg, Norway, the hull was built at Volda, Ålesund for the Norwegian Rescue Society.
Launched as the ØYVIND LORENTZEN also given as ØIVIND LORENTZEN. Named after ØIVIND LORENTZEN the sponsor of the ship.
Tonnage 90 grt, 21 net, dim. 22.89 x 6.03 x 3.2m. Displacement 135 ton.
One GM DDA 2 x 504 bhp diesel engine, speed 10 knots.
Bollard pull maximum 6 ton.
1972 Completed.

First stationed at Havøysund, Finnmark, Northern Norway.
When the stamp was designed she was stationed in Skjærhalden, Østfold county, Norway.

17 September 2007 sold for 448,123 Euro’s and delivered to Erling Lorentzen, Oslo; he is the son of the original donor of the ship the ship owner Mr. Øivind Lorentzen.
She was renamed in NORTE II.
She is no used as a yacht in the waters of Brazil, where Mr. Erling Lorenzen mostly lives.
