REBECCA EVERINGHAM. Appalachicola River.
Sternwheeler.
292Grt. Length 135'. Beam 28'. Draught 4'.
Built at Columbus GA, for the Central Line home port Apalachicola FL.
Used for the cotton trade. On 3 April 1884 she burned with a loss of 12 lives, about 40 miles below Columbus, GA - Sources; Perilious Journeys, History of Steamboating on the
Chattahoochee, Apalachicola & Flint Rivers 1828-1982 by Edward A Mueller 1990.
