Not much information on her history and details I could find, only that she is one of the four Viking Longboats used in the annual longboat races at the Isle of Mann in Peel harbour and the Bay against the clock. The first race took place in 1963.
If she carried always the name VITAL SPARK unknown to my but under that name she took part in the Queens Diamond Jubilee Pageant celebrations on 3 June 2012 on the River Thames.
