First stationed at Portsmouth as tender for HMS DASHER.
1870 Stationed in Jersey also as tender for HMS DASHER which was a fishery protection and survey vessel during the mid and late 1800’s, when the oyster fishing industry was booming and under threat from French fishermen who tried to fish in Islands waters.
August 1873 sold to E.A.S. Mignon.

In 2001 more as 200 years later and after 13 years of negotiations, an historic agreement between Jersey and France defining fishing territories was signed by French Ambassador Daniel Bernard and Jersey’s Lieutenant Governor, General Sir Michael Wilkens.
On the table on which this agreement was signed was appropriately, some ceremonial silver form a ship named HMS JERSEY.
