KLASCO 1 or 2 tug

The green hulled tug pushing a large cargo ship alongside the quay in Klaipeda Harbour on the opposite side of the harbour is identified by Mr.Gennadiy Sitnikov as one of the two KLASCO tugs owned by the Klaipeda Stevedoring Company, Klaipeda. Lithuania.
Which of the two tugs is depict is unknown it are sisterships built on the same yard.

The tugs were built under yard No 610 and 613 as units of Project 16609 by the Intro Pella yard in Otradnoye, near St Petersburg, Russia.
KLASCO-1 keel laid down 12 September 2007 and KLASCO-2 on 05 August 2009.
Tonnage 277 grt, 83 net, 111 dwt. Dim. 29.44 x 10.10 x 4.82m, length bpp. 26.50m. Draught 3.50m.
Powered by two Caterpillar engines each 1,685 hp. twin screws.
Bollard pull 55 ton.
KLASCO-1 completed on 15 October 2008 and KLASCO-2 on 17 December 2009.

After delivery used as harbour tugs in the port of Klaipeda.
It are multifunctional tugs and can be used by berthing and towing operations in Klaipeda port. Also used as a salvage tug and for fire fighting on board ships or buildings near the water, rescue and as icebreaker. Employable in inshore and coastal waters.

2013 In service, KLACO-1 IMO No 9534731 and KLASCO-2 IMO No 9568847
