Poland issued in 1966 a set of stamps for tourism of which some stamps shows us some watercraft.
40 gr; According to Navicula our German sister ships stamp collectors club, on this stamp of Poland issued in 1966 is depict a dingy of the “Omega” class of which many have been built on Polish yards.
The yacht on the stamp is sailing in the Masurian Lake District in Poland.
Dim. 6.20 x 1.80 m., length on waterline 5.5m.
Weight 250 kg.
Sail area maximum 20 m².
Can carry maximum 5 persons.
2017 The Omega class yachts are still around in Poland.
