VICTORY class missile corvette

The stamp issued by Singapore in 1990 of “25th Years of Independence” the 15c stamp depict in the background three missile patrol craft, at that time Singapore had only two types of missile craft the Sea Wolf class and the Victory class, be comparing the ships on the stamps which are not very clear most probably three ships of the Victory class are depict.
When the stamp was issued three missile patrol corvettes of this class were in service the RSS VICTORY, VALOUR and VIGILANCE.
The VICTORY was built by the Friedrich Lürssen Werft in Germany, the other two were built on the local yard of ST Marine in Singapore.
Displacement 600 ton, dim. 62 x 8.5m.
Powered by four MTU 16V538 TB93 high speed diesel engines, 15,020 hp, four shafts, speed 30 knots.
Armament: Boeing Harpoon anti-ship missiles. Barak 1 surface-to-air missiles. 1 Oto Melara 76mm gun. Eurotorp A244-S Mod 3 torpedoes. CIS 50 12.7.
Crew 46.
The three ships were commissioned in August 1990.
2015 All ships in this class are in service by the Singapore Navy.
