Built in 1967 by N.V. van der Giessen-de Noord, Krimpen a/d IJssel, #857, for Maatschappij 'Zeevaart', Rotterdam, managed by Hudig & Veder, Rotterdam.
General Cargo, Gt:1304, Nt:619, Dw:1459, Loa:84,24m. Lbpp:79,64m. B:14,30m. D:9,68m. Draught:4,50m. 2-6 cyl. MWM diesels:3000 bhp. (2206 kW.) controllable pitch propeller, 14 kn. pass:12, 3 holds, 2 cranes SWL:1-15 tons, 1-5 tons, side doors, crew:19-21, IMO.6718427. callsign PIBQ.
in 1979 in charter to the Dutch Government, for the Nederlandse Raad voor Zeeonderzoek (Dutch Council for Sea Research) homeport Den Helder, converted by Niehuis & van de Berg, Pernis as research vessel.
In 1982 sold to Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences, The Hague, homeport Rotterdam.
In 1983 in management by van Nievelt, Goudriaan & Co. B.V., Rotterdam, converted by Niehuis & van de Berg, Pernis.
In 1990 transferred to Stichting Onderzoek der Zee (Sea Research Foundation) The Hague, 1993 taken out of service.
15-04-1994 sold to Humber Princess Shipping Ltd., San Lorenzo, Honduras, renamed JIHAD II, (manager Geto Trading Ltd., Limassol) 1995 converted into livestock transport ship.
23-06-2003 renamed ABDULRAZAK, under the flag of North Korea, 21-07-2003 renamed AL MAHMOUD 4, under the flag of Syria.
2010 sold to Delta Trading Co., Honduras, 13-04-2010 renamed ALJAGHBEIR I, 08-2013 renamed DELTA I, under the flag of Togo, callsign 5VCK4, 09-2013 under the flag of Tanzania, callsign 5IM688. 2015 still active.

LR88/89 + 97/98 + Scheepvaart '83 + Blauwe Wimpel '85-382 + internet.

08-12-2017 sold to Ibrahim Maritime, Beirut, Lebanon, managed by Rana Maritime Services S.A., Beirut, Lebanon, renamed ELBEIK, under the flag of Togo.
