TAI T'ONG

Post by aukepalmhof » Fri Aug 14, 2015 8:23 pm

TAI T’ONG: A single-masted boat 9-12m long used in swift, shallow rivers, it has a straight prow, rectangular poop, and a removable deck. When fishing a net is tied to two poles and played out against the current, hence its name since “t’ong” means pole.
