YANG WANG 6

The ship depict on this stamp carries a name with the number 6, she must be the YANG WANG 6 one of the class of vessels which is used for tracking and supporting of satellite and intercontinental ballistic missiles of China. Most details are not given free by the Chinese Government, and can be corrected later on.
She was built by the China State Shipbuilding Co., Shanghai for the China Government.
April 2006 construction commenced.
16 March 2007 launched as the YANG WANG 6 what means “long view”.
Displacement 24,966 ton, dim.222.2 x 25.2m.
Powered by one Sulzer diesel, ?hp, speed 20 knots.
Accommodation for 400 persons.
12 April 2008 in service.
2015 In service, managed and operated by the People’s Liberation Army Navy of China.
