The fireboat was delivered by Guangdong Machinery Import & Export Co. Ltd. Guangzhou, China for the Marine Fire Department of Hong Kong. Most probably she was not the builder of the vessel.

Powered by two Caterpillar 3516B diesel engines each 1,772 kW, speed 15 knots.
Fitted out with one independent fire pump and two fire pumps powered by the main engines, pumping capacity 120,000 litres water per minute.
Crew 13 and has accommodation for 100 survivors.
Carried on deck one 6.7m long speedboat powered by two 75hp outboard engines, the speedboat is equipped with 1 fire pump.
Has one diving cage which can carry 3 divers to a depth of 60m.
Building cost HK$53 million.
She has replaced an older fireboat in the waters of Hong Kong and is more powerful.
