ACTAE G1102

Saint Pierre et Miquelon issued a set of stamps and a MS in 2015 for the National Gendarmerie of France and North America, one stamp has a maritime theme, which shows us a patrol boat used by the gendarmerie in Saint Pierre et Miquelon, she carries the pennant no G1102 a boat so far I can find out, never has been in St, Pierre.
The only boat stationed at St Pierre is the SAO G1101.
ACTAE G1102 is stationed in Lézardrieux in France, it are sisterships the class were built by Le Chantier Naval Ufast, Quimper, France for the French Gendarmerie part of the French Navy. Of this type 11 have been built, the SAO was the first of the series and the ACTAE the second of her class, aluminium hull.
She was one of the Vedette Type UFC 11-00.
Displacement 7/8 ton, dim. 11.60 x 3.15 x 0.7m
Powered by two Yanmar engines 630 hp, waterjet propulsion system, 34 knots maximum.
Range about 10 hours, 2 hours under full speed.
Crew up to 6.
SAO was delivered September 2011 and ACTAE delivered in November 2011.

The class is used for coastal patrol duties in France and French overseas territories in the five-mile limit territorial waters, when needed also for search and rescue, and discovery and recovery of dead bodies. They conduct also fishing controls in this waters.
2016 The class are in service.
