TEJO hovercraft

The hovercraft was built by Hovermarine International Ltd., Woolston, Southampton for the Sealink Ferries Ltd., Hong Kong as one of the type HM 527 ferries.
Launched as the TEJO, most probably named after the River Tejo in Portugal.
Tonnage 87 ton, dim. 27.20 x 10.20 x 4.90m.
Powered by two MTU 12V 396 TB83 diesel each 1,050 kW, speed 36 knots.
Consumption of fuel 650 litre an hour. Bunker capacity 4.2 ton.
Accommodation for 200 passengers in two separated saloons.
Crew 3.
After completed transported by ship to Hong Kong and in service there between Hong Kong and Macao in 1983.
2001 Taken out of service and replaced by a larger ferry.
Fate unknown.
