Built as a cargo vessel under yard No 1004 by Higashi Nippon Jukogyo K.K. in Yokohama for Cie Maritime des Chargeurs Reunis, Dunkirk, France.
Launched as the YAMA.
Tonnage 8,158 grt, 4,737 net, 10,807 dwt., dim. 143.4 x 18.9 x 8.96m. (draught), length bpp.133.0m.
One MAN 6-cyl. 2SA oil engine manufactured by the ships-builder, 6,000 hp, speed 14 knots.
December 1950 completed.

1968 Sold to Soc. d’Avances Commerciales SA, Mogadishu, Somalia, renamed in TONI.
1973 Sold to Sonimar SA Soc. de Transports Maritimes, Mogadishu, renamed ANTON STJEPOV.
1976 Sold to Orley Bay Shipping Co. Ltd., Panama and renamed UNITED EXPORTER.
19 February 1978 beached Gadani Beach, Pakistan for scrapping.
