The vessel in the lock is the OOCL FRANCE, the name is visible on the bow also the yellow stacks of containers on the front port side are visible on the photo.

Built as a container ship under yard No 2005 by Samsung Heavy Industries Co. Ltd., Korea for Newcontainer No 66 (MI) Sg. Inc. (OOCL), Hongkong.
05 November 2012 laid down.
12 January 2013 launched as the NYK HERCULES.
Tonnage 141,003 grt, 69,987 nrt, 144,044 dwt., dim. 366,46 x 48.2 x 29.80m., draught 15.58m.
Powered by a 12-cyl diesel engine type 12590ME-C9.2, manufactured by Hyundai Engine, 69,720 kW, one shaft speed 23 knots.
Capacity for 13,208 TEU’s, including 800 reefer containers.
30 April 2013 completed, under Hong Kong flag and registry, IMO no 9622617.

She was after delivery chartered by the NYK LINE, Japan for the LP4 service between Asia and Europe.
April 2016 transferred to FPG Shipholding Panama 30 SA, managed by the Orient Overseas Container Line Ltd. (OOCL), Hongkong.
Thereafter deployed on the Grand Alliance’s Asia-Europe services.
24 May 2017 she was the largest capacity Neopanamax container vessel to transit the Expanded Panama Canal.

2018 In service, same name and owner.
