Interested in Ships and Stamps? The Ship Stamp Society is an international society and publishes it’s journal, Log Book, six time a year.

The editor of Log book will retire this coming August and, unless a new one comes forward, the society will close.
With this in mind, we are not taking in any new members.
This is an unfortunate situation but seemingly unavoidable.

For the 6th anniversary of the Pacific arts in Rarotonga, Penrhyn issued three stamps in 1992 which shows native crafts.

$1.15 shows a “vaka tou’ua” viewtopic.php?f=2&t=16484&p=19448&hilit=waka+tou%27ua#p19448

$1.75 Shows a sail of a pirogue, but I can’t make out the type of the canoe.

$1.95 Shows a “vaka taurua” see: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=13389&p=14799&hilit=taurua#p14799

The poster on the left side of the stamps shows a “wa’a kaulua” viewtopic.php?f=2&t=16492
