Built as a passenger cruise vessel under yard no 691 by Jos L. Meyer Werft, Papenburg, Germany for the Celebrity Reflection Inc. Miami, Fl.
14 September 2011 laid down.
12 August 2012 floated out under the name of CELEBRITY REFLECTION.
Tonnage 125,366 nrt, 92,408 nrt, 9,500 dwt, dim. 317.20 x 38.80 x 11.3m., length bpp.293.7, draught 8.60m.
Powered diesel electric by two MAN 14V48/60Cr and two 12V48/60CR diesel engines, 67,200 kW.
Propulsion by two ABB XO Azipod 17,500 (23,500 hp) each.
Passengers 3609 and 1271 crew.
09 October 2012 delivered to owners, homeport Valetta, Malta. IMO No 9506459. Manager Celebrity Cruises.

12 October 2012 she made a few short cruises in Europe before she crossed the Atlantic to Miami.

01 December 2012 she was christened in Miami by four women, Jovanka Goronjic, Megan Mathie, Helen O’Connel and Rosey Rodriguez.

She will make cruises from Miami to the Caribbean.

CELEBRITY REFLECTION is the fifth, final, and largest Solstice-class cruise ship, her sister ships being CELEBRITY EQUINOX, CELEBRITY ECLIPSE, CELEBRITY SOLSTICE and CELEBRITY SILHOUETTE. SOLSTICE, EQUINOX, ECLIPSE and SILHOUETTE entered service in 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011 respectively. REFLECTION was launched in 2012. Since October 2012, it has been owned and operated by Celebrity Cruises. It has one more deck than other Solstice-class cruise ships, has the first Aqua Class Suites and is the only ship to have Reflection Class Suites. The ship can accommodate over 3,609 passengers, more than any other Celebrity cruise ship. CELEBRITY REFLECTION is scheduled to undergo a dry dock in January 2023.
