Built as a bulk carrier under yard No 714 by Varna Shipyard, Varna for Navigation Maritime Bulgaria (Persenk Maritime Ltd.) Valetta, Malta.
02 October 1997 laid down.
August 1998 launched as the PERSENK most probably named after Mount Persenk.
Tonnage 10,220 grt, 5,123 nrt, 13,902 dwt, dim. 142.14 x 22.47 x 8.214m. (draught), length bpp. 133.0m.
Powered by one B&W oil 2SA 7-cyl diesel engine, 6,662 bhp, single shaft, speed 13 knots,
Four holds suitable for heavy cargo.
She is ice strengthened.
June 1998 completed, homeport Valetta, Malta. IMO No 9132519. Managed by Navibulgar at Varna.

2014 Sold to Medtrans Navigation & Trade, Valetta, and renamed in OSMAN GAZI.
2018 Sold to Azenith Shipping Inc, Istanbul, renamed YUNUS EMRE under Panama flag.

2019 In service, same name and owner.
