Interested in Ships and Stamps? The Ship Stamp Society is an international society and publishes it’s journal, Log Book, six time a year.

The editor of Log book will retire this coming August and, unless a new one comes forward, the society will close.
With this in mind, we are not taking in any new members.
This is an unfortunate situation but seemingly unavoidable.

ROUSSEAU was built by ÖSWAG in Linz in sections for the Bielersee Schifffarht Gesellschaft at Biel, Switzerland.
May 2011 first section laid down.
Weight 248 ton. Dim. 48 x 9.5m.
Powered by?, maximum speed 24 km/h.
Passengers, maximum 300, included inside place for 150 passengers, crew 2.
2012 Completed as the ROUSSEAU.
When a section was completed she was transported by truck to Lake Biel where the sections were welded together at Nidau and she was fitted out.

April 2012 in service.
2019 In service.
