TI CLASS TANKER TI OCEANIA

This stamp shows us a tanker of the Ti Class, one the bow you can see the name TI OCEANIA,
She was built as one of a class of four double hulled ULCC tankers

Built as a ULCC tanker under yard No 5204 by Daewood Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering at Okpo, South Korea for the Hellespont Group in Greece.
25 June 2002 laid down.
22 October 2002 launched as the HELLESPONT FAIRFAX, three sisters.
Tonnage 234,000 grt, 441,585 dwt, dim. 380.0 x 68.0 x 34.0m, length bpp. 366.0m, draught 25.0m.
Powered by a HSD-Sulzer 9RTA84T-D diesel engine, 50,220 bhp. (37,450 kW), speed 16 knots.
10 April 2003 completed, under Greek flag and registry, IMO No 9246633.

2004 Owned by Euronav S.A. Belgium, under Belgium flag and registry, renamed in TI OCEANIA.
2005 Reflagged under the Marshall Islands

2015 Sold to Oceania Tanker Corporation, renamed in OVERSEAS LAURA LYNN.

2018 Sold to Euronav S.A., Belgium, renamed in OCEANIA and under Belgium flag and registry. As of September 2019, FSO pending, to be located off the coast of Singapore.

2020 In service, same name, and owner.
Her position on 13 January 2020 is in Singapore Strait, her speed is given as zero, so most probably at anchor.

HELLESPONT FAIRFAX was the subject of The Discovery Channel's television show Superships, episode "Launching a Leviathan—HELLESPONT FAIRFAX”.
