The British Virgin Islands issued in 1972 four stamps which shows us uniforms worn by the Royal Navy personnel.
The background of the stamps shows us battle scenes from the Battle of Trafalgar and was taken from the book Trafalgar by Oliver Warner one of the famous “British Battles” series.
