The vessel on this stamp is the NNS BURUTU (P-174). Built as an aluminum-hulled Sea Eagle fast patrol craft MK II built by Suncraft International in Singapore for the Nigerian Navy.
Dim. 38.40 x 7.00 x 4.08m., draught 1.6m.
Powered by two MTU diesel engines, 2,610 hp, speed 30 knots.
Range by 15 miles, 2,000 miles.
Armament: Armed with a 20mm RALCO(Remote and Locally Controlled) cannon.
Crew 21.
12 April 2009 commissioned under the name NNS BURUTU (P-174).

The SUNCRAFT SEA EAGLE is a 38 meter Fast Patrol Craft designed for naval or coast guard patrol duties within Exclusive Economic Zones(EEZ). It can operate as a single vessel or as part of a larger fleet.
The Sea Eagle MKII comes with a stern ramp to accommodate a fast-launched RHIB or Unmanned Surface Vessel (USV) to fulfill additional operational requirements.
