PAUANUI RESCUE

This rescue RIB stationed in Pauanui, Coromandel, North Island, New Zealand was built by AMF Boat Company, Tauranga, NZ for the New Zealand Volunteer Coastguard.
She is constructed of aluminium with inflatable tubes, and was designed by De Villiers Design, Auckland, NZ.
Dim. 8.91 x 2.67 x 0.45m. (draught)
Powered by 1 Yanmar CL 6LY2M-STP engine, 436 hp (325 kW), speed 43 knots.
Waterjet powered by single Hamiltonjet Model Hj274.
Delivered under the name PAUANUI RESCUE.

Designed to handle crossing a river bar as well as tackling surf and rough offshore conditions. PAUANUI RESCUE has a range of almost 300 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 33 knots, and a fast response speed of 43 knots.
