The stamp set recreates the battle on the historic Bach Dang River with the "Saturn" vigor of the entire people. The context is when the tide recedes at the mouth of Bach Dang River with the image of a series of Mongol-Yuan ships being punctured by wood piles; The armies of the Tran King in the drumbeat of the battle raged forcefully; Enemy ships were burned; the enemy was annihilated, the flames were burning so sky that the invaders panicked. The stamp also clearly depicts the image of the horse-riding leader of the battle together with the army to destroy Mongol-Yuan army. The Bach Dang Battle map also illustrates this great victory.
The stamp set is a historical film to record the enormous achievements of Vietnamese people and army. It shows the strategic talent of Commander-in-chief of the army, Grand Prince Hung Dao of Hung Dao Tran Quoc Tuan.
With hot tones, the stamp set has successfully demonstrated the fierce spirit of the troops in the largest naval battle in the Vietnamese history.
