REICHSTAG ship 1889

Built as a cargo-passenger ship under yard No 67 by Blohm & Voss, Hamburg for the Afrikanische Dampfschiff Ges., (Woermann Line), Hamburg.
15 September 1889 launched as the EDUARD BOHLEN.
Tonnage 2,202 grt, 2,530 dwt, dim. 94.8 (bpp.) x 11.6m.
Powered by one triple expansion steam engine, ?hp, speed 11knots.
Accommodation for 30 first class and 16 second class passengers.
18 November 1889 completed.

07 June 1890 sold to the Deutsche Ost-Afrika Linien (DOAL), Hamburg and renamed in REICHSTAG (parliament).
23 July 1890 she sailed for her maiden voyage to East Africa as a Reichspost steamer, first DOAL mail steamer to East Africa. 1902 In a service in the Bombay Line from Durban to Bombay.
Autumn 1910 sold to Mihran Nakashian, Istanbul, Turkey and renamed in SABAH.
Confiscated by Italian Government in 1911 during the Italy-Turkish War, renamed LIBANO.
1912 Sold to Prospero Schiaffino fu P, Genoa, not renamed.
1915 Sold to SA A.Parodi Bmeo, Genoa, renamed in FIDO.
1917 Sold to O.A. Raimondo e Soci, Genua, not renamed.
1920 Sold to Soc. Italiana Armamenti E Nav., Rome, renamed in IDA.
Third quarter 1923 scrapped in Italy.
