CSB 9004 SALVAGE TUG

This stamp shows us the Damen Salvage Tug 4568 designed CSB 9004 built by the Song Thu yard in Da Nang, Vietnam for the Vietnam Coast Guard.
May 2009 keel laid down.
22 November 2014 launched as the CSB 9004 one of the salvage and rescue tugs.
Tonnage 1,300 ton grt, 569 dwt., dim. 45.9 x 42.1 (bpp) x 12.0m.
Powered by two diesel engines of 3,500 hp, twin shafts, speed 16 knots.
09 July 2015 completed. IMO No 9741889.

There are four CV-3500 rescue tugs bearing numbers 9001, 9002, 9003, and 9004 respectively by Damen Group (Netherlands) design, manufacturing by Song Thu Company. The vessels have a capacity of 3,500 CV, length 46m, width 12m, height 5.5m, and displacement of 1,400 tons. According to the design, the ship can operate in all weather conditions, all levels of waves, capable of rescuing in superstorms, has a "god eye" with night vision up to 10 km, and is capable of operating continuously for 30 days and nights at sea.

The ship is equipped with modern and synchronous machinery and equipment according to European standards, classified according to the 100A1 Coastal service (coastal service) and LMC (rescue towing) level. CV-3500 rescue tugboat is equipped with a combination of rescue pumps installed in the main engine compartment. Through a door to the sea can provide water or foam fireproof to 2 spray guns placed on the roof of the wheelhouse. Nozzle diameter D = 90mm, the furthest spraying range at an angle of 45 0 with a flow of 350 m 3 / hour reaches 75 m.

The ship CV- 3500 class is used to search and rescue people in distress at sea; rescue other ships or structures at sea; towing ships and floating means that get stranded or drifting at sea; supplying oil and water to ships in distress or remote island stations; towing ships and floating means on Vietnamese waters; participating in protecting the marine environment, fighting oil spills; participate in protecting the sovereignty of Vietnamese territorial waters and are ready to perform other duties when assigned.
