There are four CV-3500 rescue tugs bearing numbers 9001, 9002, 9003, and 9004 respectively by Damen Group (Netherlands) design, manufacturing by Song Thu Company. The vessels have a capacity of 3,500 CV, length 46m, width 12m, height 5.5m, and displacement of 1,400 tons. According to the design, the ship can operate in all weather conditions, all levels of waves, capable of rescuing in superstorms, has a "god eye" with night vision up to 10 km, and is capable of operating continuously for 30 days and nights at sea.
The ship is equipped with modern and synchronous machinery and equipment according to European standards, classified according to the 100A1 Coastal service (coastal service) and LMC (rescue towing) level. CV-3500 rescue tugboat is equipped with a combination of rescue pumps installed in the main engine compartment.
