The stamps show us the bow from a sailing vessel, used in the trade between France and Egypt and who carried also the mail between the two countries. The name of the ship is unknown.

Monacophil 2019
A must-see event for philately, MonacoPhil 2019 will take place from November 28 to 30 on the Terrasses de Fontvieille in Monaco. In addition to the commercial event, which will bring together about 60 international merchant and postal administration stands, the public will be able to admire '100 stamps and emblematic philatelic documents' from, among others, the collections of HSH Prince Albert II and HM Queen Elizabeth II. Moreover, two exhibitions will be devoted to Egypt and maritime mail, topics mentioned on the "MonacoPhil block 2019" to be issued by the “Office des Timbres" of Monaco.
