By searching the internet for something else I found this URL

In which is given that the wrong vessel is shown on the three stamps issued by Monaco in 1953, the article gives that the PRINCESS ALICE II was used during the expedition, but they give not the name which vessel is depicted on the stamp.

During the voyages, I made on the West African coast many times in the mid-1960s I did see very large shoals of Portuguese man-of-war bobbling in the water, their sail just above the water so easy to detect. And I heard from other crew members don’t fall in the water the sting is deadly.

I am more interested in which yacht is depicted on the stamps when it is not the PRINCESS ALICE II, and I found on the Colnect stamps website https://colnect.com/en/stamps give that the HIRONDELLE II also a yacht from Prince Albert is shown on the stamp by comparing the yacht with photo’s Colnect is correct she is the HIRONDELLE II.
