NAGOYA PORT 100th anniversary of the opening of the port in1

Post by aukepalmhof » Wed Apr 21, 2021 8:20 pm

In commemoration of "Nagoya Port", which will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the opening of the port in November 2007, flowers designated by 5 municipalities (Minato Ward, Chita City, Tobishima Village, Yatomi City, Tokai City) and famous places of Nagoya Port Etc. are combined and drawn.

Three stamps of this set show us vessels. Two are identified the FIJI and the training vessel NIPPON MAR II. Of the last you can clearly see the blue band around the hull from the figurehead, the only Japanese tall ship has. The vessel depicts on the Nagoya Port looks like a bulker, but is not identified.
