Have not anything on the type of boat as seen on the painting.

Sandblasters - realistic oil painting by Polish painter Aleksander Gierymski . Created in 1887, so at the end of the artist's stay in Warsaw, it is now in the National Museum in Warsaw.
Image Description
The painting shows sandblasters working on the bank of the Vistula River, throwing sand from the boats onto the high wharf. The figures with shovels, rhythmically placed on the left side of the frame, are shown in different stages of movement. The work is characterized by uniform colors, dominated by gray-blue tones and ocher. The composition is asymmetrical and open. In the background, the perspective is closed by a few barges and the Kierbedź Bridge, which makes it possible to locate the stage in Warsaw's Powiśle. The lowered horizon gives the impression that the viewer is watching the scene from the water level.
Thanks to works such as Piaskar, Gierymski was said to be characterized by the attitude of a cold, meticulous observer of nature, in his works, devoid of narrative descriptiveness, he tried to capture the fleeting mood noticed in nature. Most of all, he was fascinated by the problem of light and the dependent variability of color tones.
