She was built as a cargo vessel under yard No 194 by Bartram & Sons, Sunderland, England for Overseas Transport Co. Ltd. (J.S. Pyman), London.
11 August 2004 launched under the name ABARIS.
Tonnage 2.892 gross, 1,830 net, dim. 331.7 x 48.1 x21.5ft.
One triple expansion steam engine, 290 nhp, speed?
September 1904 delivered to owners.

1916 Sold to Gascony SS Co.. Ltd. (L.Walford (London) Ltd., London. Not renamed.
1928 Sold to Soc. Anon Péches Australes, Le Havre France. Renamed AUSTRAL.
12 November 1928 arrived Kerguelen under command of Capt. Marcel Clair Pherivong for her first fishing season.
1931 Sold to Cie. Générale des Iles de Kerguelen, St Paul & Amsterdam, at Le Havre.
March 1931 she finished her third season and headed back to France.
1933 Broken up by Van Heyghen Fréres, Ghent Belgium, where she arrived on 06 January 1933.
