Built as a tug by N.V. Scheepsbouw Unie, Groningen for the Portuguese Government (Colonial Department.)
Launched under the name MACUTI.
Tonnage 702 gross, 228 net, dim. 195.9 x 32.1 x 12.5ft. (draught)
Powered by two 4-cyl. compound steamengine, manufactured by Christiansen & Meyer, Hamburg, twin screws. Speed 10 knots.
1953 Delivered, with homeport Beira, Mozambique.

11 May 2005 the photo given by this URL gives her lying on the beach, somewhere near Beira and as a wreck. And by the look she must been there already for a few years.

1700 hp.
In 1985 intentionaly run aground to become a breakwater for the lighthouse Faros Macuti, near Beira.
