WINIBELLE II yacht.

The wooden yacht WINIBELLE II was built in 1932 on the yard of La Liane in Boulogne-sur-Mer.
Length 13.60 meters.
She was complete decked, with only an opening for the bridge.
Fore and aft cuter, frames made of acacia wood, hull and keel of oak. Bridge of afromosia hardwood laminated on plywood. Mast of Oregon pine, boom and gaff of spruce, lead ballast.
Designed by William Atkin.

1933 Bought by the French maritime painter Marin Marie, and used by him for a North Atlantic crossing in August 1933. He was the first person who crossed the North Atlantic solo from the East to the West, and returned in an easterly direction in 1935.

Thereafter she changed hands many times till she was declared a Historic vessel on 05 September 1984.
She was bought in 1995 by a grandson of Marin Marie, and restored to her old state.
2005 Berthed in Poitou-Charentes, La Rochelle, but regular used for cruising.
