Built as a cargo vessel by Stocznia Szczecinska, Szczecin, Poland for the Polish Ocean Lines (POL).
08 March 1958 launched under the name KRYNICA.
Tonnage 3.442 gross, 1.822 net, 5.150 dwt., dim. 124.1 x 16.5 x 6.9m. (draught), length bpp. 112.0m.
One 8-cyl Skoda-MAN 2 stroke diesel engine, 5.000 bhp., speed 15.5 knots.
One deck with a shelterdeck.
Accommodation for 12 passengers.
21 November 1958 delivered.

She was the proto-type of the B-55 type ship, of which 10 were delivered to POL and 4 to Brazilian owners.
1978 Sold to Polamerican Steamship Co. Ltd., Cayman Islands, renamed KRYSTINA F.
1982 Sold to Orange Shipping Ltd., Cayman Islands and renamed BIG ORANGE.
03 April 1984 arrived at Kaohsiung, Taiwan, and was broken up by Shyeh Sheng Huat Steel in Kaohsiung.
