One of the Pellesac Navigation Company's vessels, the barque Tare is seen on the 1.25d. stamp. This oil on canvas by Capt. Ivankovic, now in the Maritime Museum at Orebic, represents the Tare having a rough time in an Atlantic gale. She was built at Trieste in 1871, and was of 820 tons, 45 tons larger than the Eber. The Tare was sold in 1894.
