The centavos "Day of the Reservists" stamp of Brazil, issued 1967, shows the aircraft carrier Minas Gerais (ex-H.M.S. Vengeance) which has previously appeared on a Brazilian stamp of 1957. She was built by Swan, Hunter and Wigham Richardson at Wallsend-on-Tyne in 1945, and was one of the "Colossus" class, carrying 39 to 44 aircraft.
