Built as one of the Combattante II class missile patrol boats. The class of 12 units were all built by CMN, Cherbourg, France for the navy of Iran.

The vessel depict on the stamp carried the No 232 so she must be the TABAZIN.
15 September 1978 launched as the TABAZIN (P223) on of the Kaman Class.
Displacement 249 tons standard, 275 tons full load. Dim. 47.00 x 7.10m.
Powered by four MTU 16V538 TB91 diesel engines, 14.400 bhp., four shafts, speed 36 knots.
Range by a speed of 15 knots, 1800 mile.
Armament 4 – Harpoon SSM’s , replaced by China manufactured C802 SSM missiles, 1- 76mm OTO Melara DP forward and 1 – 40mm Bofors AA gun aft.
Crew 31.
01 August 1981 in service.
